Michael Bender, Chief Executive Officer mbender@banaelectric.com
As a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Michael started his career with Bana as an electrical construction project manager in 1963. In 1966 Michael became Vice President and Secretary of Bana Electric and in 1985 moved into the position of President. In 2000 he passed the torch to his son, Stephen. Michael currently serves as CEO.

Like his father, Stephen graduated from one of the nation's top engineering schools, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Stephen joined Bana in 1993 and took over the helm as President in 2000. Stephen manages company finances and oversees all operational and administrative aspects of BEC.

Rhoda Bender, Senior Estimator rbender@banaelectric.com
Rhoda has been with Bana Electric for over 45 years. She received her BA from Queens College and her Masters of Science from Hofstra in 1966. Rhoda has worked as an Estimator at BEC since 1963 and currently handles estimating all of Bana's projects.

Susan Bender-Capanelli, VP of Estimating  scapanelli@banaelectric.com
Susan began as a full-time Bana employee in 2003. She received her Juris Doctorate from Touro College in New York in 1993, after receiving her undergraduate degree from St. John’s University.  Susan is the head of the Estimating department, and her duties also include contract negotiation and interpretation. Susan is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and has been published in various law journals.
